How to: Export LinkedIn contacts by category and tag

LinkedIN only offers the option of exporting all your contacts into one big list. I have found a way to chop that list up by your LinkedIn tags, or contact groupings like Company, Location or Industry. Now you can better organize your contact list outside LinkedIn and target mailing lists easily through CRM software like Salesforce.com or email services like MailChimp.

   Kind of clunky but it does work. Thanks.

   BTW, you don’t have to actually create a new column in order to paste values. Simply highlight the column with formulas, right click “copy,” then Edit – Paste Special – Values. The Values get copied right on top of the formulas in the same column.
